    The Fathers Hands Ministries

Bevan is so refreshing to visit with. Everything in his life is measured by the question of, “Will this bring Glory to God? If not, I do not want to do it.”

Bevan & Laura moved to Slovakia in 1996 for the express purpose of teaching indigenous leaders how to lead in ministry. They did not go there with any specific ministry format to pursue but with the sole goal of raising up local leaders.

When they arrived in Slovakia they found a desperate need for ministry to orphans and children since so many had been abandoned to the government run children’s homes. To that end, they began Father’s Heart ministry designed to teach Slovak leaders how to minister using the context of a children’s ministry.

Bevan & Laura eventually adopted 6 “Gypsy” children of their own and continue to minister to 100's more through their children’s camps, animal therapy programs and orphanage ministries. Bevan also runs a motorcycle ministry which gives him access to over 1100 motorcycle riders in Eastern Europe as well as gives people on short term mission trips an opportunity to use their motorcycle enthusiasm as a witnessing tool. He will take a large group of motorcyclists all over Eastern Europe, ride into the town square, rev the engines until a crowd arrives and then unleash the bikers to share the gospel with those who arrive. We have supported this ministry since the late 90's and are thankful for the blessing they are.
